I am an artist and freelance illustrator based in Connecticut. I’m interested in collaborating on projects for editorial and commercial markets. I frequently work on location, capturing my impressions of people and places, which keeps the work lively and expressive. I work in pen and ink and watercolor on site and may add some collage elements in the studio. For most illustration projects I combine mixed media and digital. The focus of my previous work was technical and medical illustration, as well as graphic design. I now spend my creative energy sketching on location, painting, illustrating, and teaching. I have a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
